Darren J. Benson

Darren J. Benson is senior vice president of claims at FM. Based in Johnston, Rhode Island, USA, Benson is responsible for the oversight and management of the company’s claims staff and activity worldwide.

Benson previously served as vice president and operations manager, Chemical operations, based in Norwood, Massachusetts, USA. Prior to that, he held a number of roles, including client service manager, business process improvement consultant, Seattle branch manager, senior account manager, sales executive and senior claims adjuster.

Benson joined FM in 1987 as a loss prevention engineer.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Montana State University, Bozeman, Montana, USA.
