Thierry Masurel

Thierry Masurel is senior vice president, enterprise services, at FM. In this position, he oversees client and risk services as well as global insurance and program services worldwide.

Since joining FM in 1992, Masurel has held a variety of roles in Paris operations, including account engineer; field engineering group manager; client service manager; operations vice president; consultant for the business process improvement team; and operations senior vice president, operations manager of Paris operations.

In 2019, Masurel moved from France to FM’s corporate offices in Johnston, Rhode Island, USA, to assume the role of operations senior vice president, operations compliance manager. In 2021, he was promoted to operations senior vice president, manager of global insurance and program services, in the enterprise services division, overseeing all insurance product delivery services.

He also managed the global services group, informed on international strategy and coordinated market entry. This included developing and keeping the FM WorldReach Partner network resilient, managing license applications in new territories, governing translation and localization services and leading cell captive solutions. Masurel is currently the chairman of the board of FM's three reinsurance captives.

Prior to joining FM, Masurel was a research engineer on submarine nuclear missiles working for the military division of Airbus.
